Eikona was developed as a spiritual skincare brand rooted in ritual, dark feminine and a heavy focus on skin barrier restoration. "Eikona" means "The mirror of the soul" so that is what we used to guide the creative with this project.
On a logistics level, through market research, it became clear that many skincare brands position themselves within either a clinical, results-driven space or a soft holistic space. There is a growing opportunity within the market for brands that feel calm, grounded and emotionally connected, yet more alternative than the average holistic brand.
The intention behind Eikona was to create a brand that feels wholesome but with more sophistication. The visual identity leans into autumn tones, delicate typography and subtle texture, allowing the brand to feel both elevated and approachable.
The result is a brand that sits confidently within the premium skincare space while offering a more trendy alternative to your standard holistic branding.
